Our curriculum is coherently planned and sequenced to enrich learners with sufficient knowledge and skills for future learning and career. The Curriculum is divided into the following learning Areas: (Nursery Section: English and Mathematics is called Literacy and numeracy skill while primary is English Language and mathematics)

Literacy (Nursery)

This offers the children the opportunity to learn reading skills which consist of two dimensions: language comprehension and word reading. Language comprehension (necessary for both reading and writing) starts from birth. Here the children are exposed to Jolly Phonics sounds which makes reading for them easy at a very early age. The aim is to ensure our children read at the age of 3.

English Language (Primary)

For effective implementation, our Literacy instructions are narrowed down in aspects which comprise Reading Comprehension, Creative Writing, Grammar, Spelling Skills, Vocabulary Skills, and Verbal Reasoning.

Numeracy (Nursery)

Fun and engaging activities based on numbers, measurements, shapes, colours, and space form the basis of the children’s Numeracy development. Everyday activities like sand, water, play dough, counting rhymes and many more teach the children Numeracy concepts and vocabulary.

Mathematics(primary)

At the end of each class, pupils would have explored all the content areas, like numbers and number system, calculation-mental strategies, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, handling data, measurement, geometry and problem solving.

Personal Social and Emotional Development:

The children are encouraged to become independent. They learn good habits like taking turns to speak, how to actively listen, use of magic words, respect other people, dress themselves up after using the bathroom, share and help tidy up. Good manners are encouraged at all times. Your child is not only practising the behaviour that will benefit them later in life, they also share in the simple joys of making lasting friendship and treating others with kindness and respect.

Communication and Language

Listening and reading skills are essential for the children’s development at an early age. A wide range of reading resources are offered to the children to encourage early reading skills.

Understanding the World

This area gives the children the opportunity to learn about their environment and explore the world around them. They learn about the weather, season of the world, traditional festivals, family values, animal and plant life.

Physical Development

Activities that encourage children in the development of gross and fine motor skills are taught incorporating Sensorial and Practical Life activities like beading, walking on the line, Knobbed Cylinder, Play dough, construction toys and lots more. The playground, playhouse and outdoor space are made available for them.

Expressive Arts and Design

This area covers all forms of art and craftwork in which various ranges of materials and media are explored. It comprises role-play, drama, dance, rhymes and music.
