Our Story

It is a long established fact that a reade.

Tantua International Group of school is a comprehensive private, co-educational day and boarding school located between Trans-Amadi Industrial area and liberation stadium, Elekahia, Port Harcourt, in Rivers th state. Founded on the 8 of September 1986 by Late Chief Ebikebina Tantua, (Taingbe II), with a vision of providing quality teaching and learning, and instilling the core values of excellence, responsibility and creative thinking amongst its Nursery, Primary and High school pupils/students.

Since its inception in 1986, the school continues to produce graduands of outstanding and exceptional quality, worthy in character and learning. More so, TANTUA pupils/students continue to excel in various external examinations, including universities with innumerable awards, and rst class degrees all over the world, thereby making us proud as we persevere to conquer. These are achieved through a guided framework of our academic programmes/curriculum and experienced professional teachers, which also take cognisance of staff-parents/guardian relationships, in meeting the dynamics and challenges of everyday life.

Whilst Tantua International Group of schools aims to be the preferred choice and destination for quality teaching and learning, it continues to grow from strength to strength through varied reforms; - analysis/ grading of pupils/student performance indicators, training of staffs, the provision of laboratories, research centres and cutting edge ICT facilities, in meeting the contemporary needs of our technological world. Moreover, we believe quality and effective teaching and learning, which form the bedrock of any meaningful development. Thus we view “Education” within lenses of “age-old traditions”; morals, storytelling, teaching, and corporal punishment.
